In September 2002, LGV completed the MBO of Jeyes, the household products division of IWP International plc. Jeyes manufactures, distributes and markets products for the household cleaning and hygiene markets in the UK, Europe and the US. These categories include:
- toilet care - through brands such as Bloo and Parozone;
- disinfectants – Jeyes Fluid, and
- air care.
Since acquisition the business has been simplified through the disposal of a number of non-core businesses and the manufacturing base has been significantly consolidated.
