SNOW+ROCK OPENS FIRST STORE IN SCOTLAND
Snow+Rock, a portfolio company of LGV, is excited to announce the launch of their first store north of the Scottish border within Frasers Glasgow, a House of Fraser store. The 1,750sq ft concession opened on 15th December 2011.
The store will offer customers in Glasgow a wide selection of Snow+Rock products including adult and kids ski wear and accessories from brands such as The North Face, Kjus, Peak Performance and Schoffel. The company believes that this range of brands will offer a more prestigious offering from other retailers in the area and will give local customers the opportunity to shop for fashionable and technical skiwear on their doorstep. All the staff will be trained to offer the level of expert technical knowledge which customers have become to expect from Snow+Rock. Customers will also benefit from Snow+Rock's UK Price Pledge guaranteeing they won't find any of their products cheaper across Europe.
The store will be Snow+Rock's 25th store in the UK (including two North Face branded stores), and comes a month after the opening of the new 14,000 square foot Croydon store on Purley Way. The business has been looking for the right opportunity to open a store in Glasgow, which it believes has a large number of its core customers of skiers, snowboarders, climbers and those who enjoy the extensive local outdoor activity opportunities.
