Jeyes announces new appointment of Group Chief Executive

We are delighted to announce that Bernard Daymon will take the position of Group Chief Executive Officer of Jeyes.

Bernard has over 20 years of experience in the consumer products and the ‘Business to Business’ industries with a focus in the home care, personal care and professional hygiene and service categories. He has a passion for driving business results by understanding consumer needs and customer value propositions, building talent, and tuning business models.

Over the last eight years he was employed by Diversey Inc, where he most recently served as Vice President Europe with responsibility over the corporate client team, the distribution channels and the sales & service forces in fourteen countries.
He had previously held the positions of Vice President South of Europe and Managing Director Spain, Vice President Central & Easter Europe, Africa Middle-East and Vice President EMEA for Finance, based off the Netherlands and Spain.

Earlier in his career, Bernard spent eleven years with Unilever Home & Personal Care in various Director and Vice President of Finance roles in France, Greece and North America. He began his career in the computer industry with Bull in France where he held various finance roles during his six year tenure.

Bernard earned a master in management from the Law & Economic University of Montpellier, France in 1983, a master of business administration from the European University of America of San Francisco, USA in 1984 and a post master in International business from the Institut Supérieur de Gestion of Paris, France in 1985.

Roger Burdett will return to being Non-Executive Chairman of Jeyes and will continue to remain closely involved with the business.
