LGV has a proven team that has applied the same consistent and differentiated strategy for the past three decades, focussing on the UK mid-market. Whilst the companies themselves differ, LGV has a number of criteria which it looks for when considering investments:

Size
We typically invest in companies in the mid-market, with LGV making an equity investment in excess of £15 million.

Geography
We invest in companies which are headquartered in the British Isles.

Business characteristics
LGV seek to invest in businesses with the following qualities:

• First class, proven management
• Mature, profitable businesses with established track records
• Cash generative
• Excellent growth prospects
• Established and defensible market positions (no start-ups or early-stage companies)
• Potential for exit
